Small things, made with care.

Playground

A place to try the interface: buttons, forms, small animations, and the visual identity behind this site.

A collection of controls, interactions, and small decisions that make an interface feel considered. Go ahead, try them.

White until you get curious.

A button for every little thing.

Push, hold, toggle. Each one has something to say.

Room for a thought.

Text fields, choices, little decisions. Three forms to play with.

What are you thinking?

A little interruption. On purpose.

Windows that open, feedback that lands, and a way back out.

Modal / dialog

Your thought, in focus.

Open the note, make a change, and bring it back here.

A small idea

Make something a little unexpected.

Notifications

Something happened.

Clear feedback, a close button, and an action when you need one.

Try an error, then give it another go.

Popover

A bit more, right here.

A little inbox that opens beside the thing you clicked.

Keep that thought.

Good things have
a little give.

On buttons that push back, imperfect drawings, and making software feel a little more human.

From the workbench

There’s a moment between pressing a button and seeing what happens. It might only last a fraction of a second, but that moment tells you whether the thing in front of you is listening.

A tiny shift. A square that fills in. A drawing that changes its mind by one pixel. None of these details do the work for you. They make the work easier to trust.

A little personality is useful when it helps you understand what just happened.
Start small. Make it feel right.

I like making a small part of an interface before deciding what the whole thing should be. A button leads to a field. A field leads to a form. Eventually, those little decisions start to sound like the same voice.

The aim is simple: clear enough to use without thinking, interesting enough to make you look twice.

The animation desk

A little life.
Three little drawings.

Small differences make things feel alive. Pick a frame, or let them play.

The drawing shelf · 28 little stories

Every project has
a little character.

White ink, a small pixel grid, and three drawings. A different story for everything I’ve built.

Three gravitational bodies, their trails, and force vectors.

Bodies advance along their trails inside a camera reticle.

The thinking behind it.

Interaction is part of the design.

Movement should explain what just happened. A character takes a step. A button confirms an action. Everything still works with motion turned off.

A few pixels. A bit of personality. A home for the things I make.
